Kirsten (Kaye) Wilkinson, MA, SEP, TCTSY-F, E-RYT 500, Bikram Certified, RCYT, Qi Gong and iRest Certified, Thai Yoga Massage Certified, Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, Mind/Body Practitioner, Breathe to Heal Facilitator, PsyD in Somatic Psychology at Meridian University Candidate. Kirsten has over 20 years of experience working with moving bodies, and trauma, and building trauma-informed and human-centered curricula.  A former professional ballerina, she holds close the sacredness of movement as a restorative tool.  She is the Executive Director of Legacy Motion, an NGO that supports individuals and communities impacted by trauma by offering sustainable programming and training to community members in trauma-informed, restorative movement-based practices and somatic therapy modalities.  Each program and project honors traditional healing methods, supports the collective human experience, and provides learning opportunities to aid in accessible and equitable mental healthcare through the mind/body connection. She is also the founder of Healing Motion, a private practice that offers somatic therapy coaching and embodied practices that support mental health by assisting individuals in discovering their innate wisdom, restoring their embodied strength, and transcending to holistic well-being through nervous system self-regulation, lifestyle balance, and personalized wellness programs.

Jeff Schmitt, Ph.D., Folk Healer, Tabaquero, Ceremonialist, Musician & Scientist; he is a walker-between-worlds. Jeff has also practiced and taught Chinese martial arts for most of his life. He is a 32-year veteran scientist, entrepreneur with over 100 publications and patents to his name. As a social entrepreneur he has helped start five companies, one of which went public in 2002. Jeff is a dedicated practitioner and student of the folk healing traditions of Peru and North America. Jeff enthusiastically works with clients using sacred healing and counseling methods; one of his greatest joys is bringing people together in sacred community to facilitate personal and planetary healing. He is also a teacher of the healing arts of South America and the Andes.

Jason Turner is a veteran, Tillman Scholar, LMSW, mental health and addiction specialist, athlete, neuroscience geek, and advocate for improving the addiction treatment model. He is the founder of e-motion wellness™, a cutting-edge outpatient center for mental health and addiction treatment with protocols such as biotechnology, cold plunge, saunas, red light therapy, genetic testing, neurotyping, and high-end exercise equipment. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings with both adolescents and adults who suffer from addiction and mental health issues. Jason is passionate about serving others, especially those suffering with mental health and substance use disorders. He developed a framework and approach designed to capitalize on the brain’s developmental history, survival functions, and the process by which humans learn. Jason has spent 20-plus years mastering intentional and effective protocols to encourage the natural processes of the brain to foster healing and transformation.

Jessica Hope, LCSW, Master Resilience Trainer, Certified Financial Social Worker, Certified in Integrative Complex Trauma Treatment. Jessica Hope is a trauma-informed psychotherapist, Army veteran, and lead therapist in San Antonio with over two decades of experience spanning behavioral health, military leadership, and systems-level advocacy. She specializes in evidence-based care for veterans, first responders, and survivors of complex trauma, integrating modalities such as ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, somatic therapy, and expressive arts.

With a Master’s in Advanced Generalist Social Work from IUPUI, Jessica brings clinical depth and operational precision to her work. She is also certified in Transformative Shame and Self-Loathing and is completing training in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Sex Therapy.

Beyond the therapy room, Jessica serves on the Texas Military Sexual Trauma Working Group and has testified before Congress on trauma recovery and suicide prevention. She is a passionate public speaker, published author, and advocate for mental health in both military and corporate spaces.

Outside of her work, Jessica enjoys travel, silent retreats, obstacle course racing, making music and art, and spending time with her daughters and dog.

Juniper Gwin is the founder of Nourish Healing Collective. She is certified in both Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine through the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners.  She has 24 years of experience as a licensed acupuncturist.

Juniper attended the University of Michigan and the University of Washington for undergraduate study before receiving her master’s degree from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine.  She augmented her understanding of East Asian medicine through additional studies in both China and Cuba.

Juniper has dedicated most of her life to studying various movement arts including ballet / modern dance, yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Aikido.  She also performed professionally for many years and is now a certified yoga instructor.  This unique blend of experience enables her to assist her people in developing a deeper sense of relationship between physical and spiritual well-being.

She is also co-founder of NourishDeep Retreats alongside her friend, Lecia Grossman. They lead retreats that harness the wisdom of the analytical mind and intuitive body to help women connect more wholly with their divine nature.

 

JEN WORTHEN

Jennifer Worthen, LPC, MT-BC, FAMI is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Board-Certified Music Therapist and a Fellow with the Association of Music and Imagery. She has also trained in the use of an assessment tool utilizing ancient archetypal symbols and mandalas. Jen began her study of indigenous wisdom and folk healing in 2006 with an apprenticeship in the Pachakuti Mesa Tradition with don Jason Blaesing and don Oscar Miro-Quesada Solevo and is now an assistant teacher of the Eagle Condor Council. She has a private practice in which she weaves together her healing altar/mesa, counseling techniques and music or vibratory offerings in humble service to the empowerment of her clients.

With a profound passion for fostering self-awareness and awakening inner wisdom, she inspires others to embark on transformative journeys of self-discovery.
