SACRED TOBACCO CEREMONY + SELF-REGULATION

APRIL 20, 2024

ENCHANTED ROCK STATE PARK, FREDERICKSBURG, TEXAS

On Saturday, April 20th, we will be inviting a very small group of people to join us in sharing our personal shamanic and self-regulation practices at Enchanted Rock State Park in Fredericksburg, Texas.

We will gather at the park in the morning, where we will introduce Peruvian Earth-honoring practices to help you connect with the living spirit of this sacred land. This will be an opportunity to develop a relationship with the powerful healing force of the mountain and the wisdom of its ancient spiritual history.

After a hike/scramble up to a higher elevation on Little Rock, we will lead a breathwork session designed to bring us into the present moment and strengthen our nervous and immune systems.

We will guide a sacred tobacco ceremony with singa, a ceremonial brew made from Amazonian tobacco (mapacho). This medicine provides a powerful means to release old patterns and invite new ones. By connecting with the sacred spirit of this ancient plant and understanding the biochemistry of how nicotine aids brain plasticity, you will be able to reconfigure mental patterns and heal from your past. Additionally, we will be working with sananga, potent Amazonian eye drops that enhance intuitive vision, mood, and ocular health.

Utilizing the neural malleability that the sacred tobacco provides and the supportive energy of nature, we will engage in somatic emotional release practices to let go of old energy from our tissues and nervous system, offering it to the earth in a sacred symbiosis.

We will be available to assist anyone interested in receiving a 'limpia' (clearing) to release dense energy from the subtle body.

Towards the end of our practice, we will immerse ourselves in a South American meditation practice to establish a conscious, symbiotic relationship with the land.

Living in large cities, we sometimes forget the importance of connecting with our environment and the elements. The ancient wisdom of South America offers us beautiful and powerful tools for reconnecting and processing our emotions. Harness the opportunity to develop a reciprocal relationship with this ancient sacred land just outside of San Antonio.

Please bring hiking shoes, water, trail snacks, and outdoor clothes.  We encourage you to bring two flowers to gift to the land.

This experience is not recommended for anyone struggling with nicotine addiction, but it will be beneficial for those seeking to develop a healthy relationship with the spirit of tobacco. If you are concerned about your physical ability to hike the terrain, please contact us beforehand.
